It seems to say: Whatever happens or has happened, Hold on to your soul, continue to believe in yourself and not get caught up in the lies and deception of this cold world. Don't settle for less as a result of putting yourself out there and allowing others to control your destiny. Don't waste time looking at what could have or should have been. Always remember Love is out there and if you remain true to yourself without letting go of faith, love will find you.

In struggling to let go of a love that was, sometimes we tend to torture one another emotionally as we want so desperately to hold on to a love that was not healthy for either of us. Kind of like a "bad habit" or "addiction" as some would say. It's bad enough realizing the loneliness that separation brings, The saddest part is realizing the heartache will never end. The only way to break free is to accept the past and move forward. The love will always remain.

Brings to mind the feelings of finding true love and yet while recognizing this as true love, for whatever reasons they could not continue the relationship at he when it began. In time those feelings intensify and continue to grow. That love remains loyal throughout that time, meaning, time moved on and so did they, until fate came to their rescue bringing them together once again, therefore nothing to hide, believe what he says, when they finally meet again, love is waiting with "Open Arms." Acceptance, truth, forgiveness, truth, joy of rediscovering love.

Sounds like when the mind tells your heart to move on and reach for true love again. While at the same time the heart still feels the loss of the love you thought would last forever. I do believe that for many of us, true, undying love comes but once in a lifetime, Sometimes we miss that chance for whatever reason, only to wake up later in life feeling the magnitude of that loss. That's when we realize how that same love lived on within us without our knowing, carrying us through life's lonely times and strengthened us beyond understanding. Many choose to remain comfortable with the idea of true love, rather that risk another loss.

Melody is music from the soul, that lives within a heart just the same as true love does. When one is sad, lonely, confused, or simply reaching for a comfort zone, or that one thing that reminds us that we too belong, the only place to find the answers are from within. In reaching for Melody he finds reasons, love, comfort, acceptance, self forgiveness ect. Understanding our feelings within bring us to create songs, music, poetry, and much more. We all have our own Melody if we're willing to listen to from within our hearts.
