He wants his friends and Gabriella back but he has not been acting right. He feels the answers are inside of him and if he trys, than he can fix it. He has to believe that he can do it though because throughout the movie he has acted like a jerk and everyone hated him. He knows he can be great and act well to everyone but he can not do it until he feels that he believes in himself.
