I believe this a situation when someone can be at the brink of self destruction whether it maybe because of drugs of heavy stress leading to solitude and depression and wanting nobody's company, just waiting for the "big" moment to come, scrounging for ways to get by and allowing the time to tick on and getting deeper and deeper, only to feel the need to be left alone.
