You guys are slow. Jason Andrew Relva was a good freind of the bands, and a better friend to Mike. But he sadly died in a car accident, (hence the lyrics, "My friend drove off the other day.") This song is written by Mike Dirnt and is the only Green Day written by him except from the "Nobody Likes You" part from the song Homecoming which is on the American Idiot Album!
