Ohh I forgot one thing. After I said the part where she tries sohard to pull the lightbulb on the other members. She can't because the lightbulb won't go that far. That's basically saying the spotlight is on hayley not the other band members. Please don't put thins in the negative area because it ois the truth. Watch the music video. And I'm so tired of people saying that the song is about two people who hate each other. It not.!

The wryly titled "For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic" stems from what Josh reflects as "putting your faith in someone and they blow it." But in the writing of the song, he saw that his faith in his bandmates was not misplaced: "I wrote the music specifically to be awesome live and to be extremely energetic. It all came out at once. "We all share the same faith. And so when we deal with the whole 'Christian band thing,' we kind of think about something P.O.D. says, like, 'If you're a Christian, it affects everything in your life. So if you're a plumber, does that make you a Christian plumber?'"

How come people say this song is about a girl name cassie who commits suicide. Every time they say that about this song. I tell them its about the columbine shooting they get all confused. And ask me then why is she pulling the trigger. Then I really get mad and they rub it in my face telling me that this song is about emos. If only they knew what this song was about then maybe they would forgive me.
