Living in Los Angeles at that time, and society being subjected to many serial killers being glamorized by the media in those days, his comment about "I'd like to meet his taylor" insinuates that those 'werewolves' who aren't caught are the powerful in society. And "His hair was perfect" also shows that a person shouldn't be judged solely on his appearance. Warren walked that tightrope of being able to insert political comments into his songs, something that those who control society are loath to allow. Many R&are musicians have been persecuted and pressured for espousing their political views, and it's still going on today. Music is too powerful, for those in power, to allow politics and ideology to be contained in pop songs overtly. I believe John Lennon was killed for this reason, he was about to release a very powerful album, and it was suppressed by his murder. Hinkley was under 'mind control' when he killed him.
