I love this song, it's been stuck in my head all day. I think that it could definitely have some Nirvana-era influence to it, but overall I think it's just about loneliness and the repeating cycle of life. He's not alone, but he feels alone. This song has really good imagery nearer to the starting that makes me think of an aftermath of a high. "One last cigarette" is a perfect lyric for this song because it shows weakness.
