Meaning

The song, is a long string of references and tributes to dozens of artists and metal bands as well as some of their best songs. Most explanations I have put in have links to the songs. These range from Ozzy Osborne's "Crazy Train" to Iron Maiden's "Two Minutes To Midnight". All the references are to metal bands that the writer felt inspired his writing for Sabaton, a metal band in and of themselves. It could also be taken as a list of "songs to listen to" as advised by the song writer to listeners who are new to the metal and rock genre.
