Meeting him and learning who he is, through thorough research of his life demonstrates exactly how biographical all of this is.

Her heart shaped box - her sexuality. Her ex boyfriend, interviewed in Kurt and Courtney, described her as apt to learn one's sexual peccadilloes, and use them as a part of her repertoire, to sort of hook you in, but that when you weren't high, it was terribly obvious that was the case. Kurt did a lot of smack, and got locked inside her sexuality, caught up in himself and losing himself, for weeks. Weeks and weeks on end, and thought that it was everything.
