Yeah that's not what the song says at all. "I know I can't take one more step towards you Cause all that's waiting is regret" (This one is pretty self explanatory. She knows that she shouldn't go back to him because she will regret it.) "I hear you're asking all around If I am anywhere to be found But I have grown too strong To ever fall back in your arms. " (She hears that he is asking for her but it doesn't matter because She is too strong now to go back to him.) With those two quotes alone it's obviously a song about how she was with a guy that was all wrong for her. When she finally got over him and found happiness again, he came looking for her to "Have her one more time." She is telling him that it won't work because she is not the same person and she is much stronger now and doesn't need him. So basically it is a song about being stringer and not letting an ex-love return to your life and bring you down again.
