Basically Andy was saying "but let you drink the pain" that he gave no care and wanted and let his enemy or rival or what ever it was feel the pain and that was okay with him. "a final song now we both know" meant that the last words may or may not have been sacred or cared for. But they are the last words they spoke to each other. The fact that they may or may not have been sacred meant that the person who Andy shared the last words with my or may not have been his enemy or rival. Sorry if this didn't help at all!
