The meaning of this song is telling the girl to just stop and listen to Eric play his guitar and sing in front of her. The song is saying to just stop and cherish the moment. To me, this song means that you should just keep and savor every moment of your life even if you may not want to because you should live every last moment like it's going to be your last.
