And then they have the nerve to "FORGET THEIR NAMES". Really don't listen to them bc their hot, they put in way to much time and work into their cd for that. Actually pay attention to the meaning!

The meaning was said by Matt himself. The song is about being far away from home and loved ones for a long time wand when you return you get this feeling like your heart bursts into fire. Its a strong feeling. I know because I live far from home and everytime I go that feeling comes. I can relate to this so much you have no idea. When I heard this song I wanted to cry. Yea it may have a religious meaning in there but from I got from the video is that he is comparing life to a game of chess. The white is friends and the black is his enimies. He watches one by one as he loses friends to enimies and he is calling out to them, "can you hear me now?" He watches as he slowly loses the game and just breaks down when he sees that he has nothing left and has lost the game. That's what I got and it is very true.
