I think it's partially about suicide, in the song he's on the rooftop ready to fall ("Now I'm standing on the rooftop ready to fall" note that he hasn't killed himself yet) and he can't put up with life anymore ("I think I'm at the edge now but I could be wrong") but found a reason to keep on living ("But here in this moment like the eye of the storm It all came clear to me I found a shoulder to lean on An infallible reason to live all by itself") Awesome song!

Not certain on the exact meaning but the feeling is that: it could be either a guy or a girl (a guy imo) that has no joy in life ("The fields where nothing grew but weeds"), then finally he does ("I found a flower at my feet, Bending there in my direction.") but even that is temporary ("Inside my hands these petals browned, Dried up falling to the ground, But it was already too late now, I pushed my fingers through the earth, Returned this flower to the dirt, So it could live, I walked away now... ") and that it's too late for him to change ("There's a point we pass from which we can't return") and needs someone to help him ("All because of you, I believe in angels, Not the kind with wings, No, not the kind with halos, The kind that bring you home, When home becomes a strange place, I'll follow your voice, All you have to do is Shout it out"). I believe though that one song may have multiple meanings, like if one person says its one thing and another person something else it could be both. And also it's "Lay my head down" (trust me I own the cd and looked in the booklet and I'm 100% certain).

Imo, he's the one that died ("I see a distant light") ("Loved ones BACK HOME all crying 'cause they're already missing me") and went to heaven ("A place of hope and no pain, perfect skies with no rain"), but he doesn't want to go yet or isn't ready to ("Arrived too early" "(I'm much too young to fall)") and wants a second chance to do things over the right way ("Give me a chance to be that person I wanna be") and also feels he doesn't belong in this place ("I don't belong here") (maybe cuz' he isn't ready for the afterlife or cuz' he feels its too good a place for him). And I hate people that say every song has something to do with drugs "Such a surreal place to see" imo heaven would be a surreal place to see.
