The song is theme song of the 1982 comedy movie "Tootsie" starring Dustin Hoffman, Bill Murray and Jessica Lange ... It's a song that sums up what it is to fall in love with the only one you'd ever want and who is the love of your life ... For me the song is about someone special named Josh ... We were both in our late 20's when we met and we began to date ... Then a year later I asked him if he would like to marry? He said yes and we were married with not much fuss about it with us both in top hats and suits ... The reception had some violinists and saxophonist to play some songs and during the reception Josh had a surprise as he had arranged to sing a song specially for me with the violins playing and the saxophonist and he sang "It Might Be You" ... The marriage was a happy one with the ups and downs of life ... Then 15 years later I had a call at work that he was injured in a road accident and he was critical ... I rushed to the hospital and on arrival I was told he had died during a surgery in an attempt to save his life ... I never had that chance to tell him how he made my life happy even though he knew ... 10 years on and I still don't want or look for anyone else as I'd rather be on my own ... Whenever I hear the song "It Might Be You" it reminds me that there was a time in my life that I found the love of my life and lost them ... If you have found the love of your life and they are your world then never let a day go without telling them it ... A broken heart never heals if you lose the love of your life but it is better to have loved and lost than not found the love of your life at all, but Josh left me with a beautiful song to remember him as it's a classic romantic song and timeless.
