When I was young I always thought the world was perfect. But when I got to ages 11-12 or where I am now I now understand that it isn't it brought me great depression. Depression I've fought everyday. I love to imagine a world that it's perfect. My paradise containing no bullies or mean people. Right now I'm in my storm hoping everyday gets better. I've pretty much detached myself from this world. My best friends are my characters in my stories, Pens, Pencils, Notebooks. So this song describes my life.

Meaning
When I first heard this song from my brother I though nothing of it but now I see it explains me and my brother we are 6 years a part and hes now 18 and in the army which really affected me anyways when I said "Used to play pretend, give each other different names, We would build a rocket ship and then we'd fly it far away, Used to dream of outer space but now they're laughing at our face, Saying, "wake up, you need to make money." It made me tear up because me and my brother would always play then when he turned 18 he became serious and joined the army. So now we don't play like we used to which sucks.
