I recall reading this somewhere. Not sure if this is the first pop/rock song to use the moog. I do know Mickey Dolenz was one of the first three people in the United States to own a moog. The Monkees also used the moog a full three years The Beatles would use a moog on Abbey Road, which would also be the group's final recording. * Not counting the later "Real Love/Free As A Bird" recordings.*
