I think it's about a guy that's pretty much living a lie because of all the bad things he's done. But in the end he thinks all of those things will add up and make the end tat much better for him, because he lived while he was alive, and he thinks this applys to pretty much everyone. And he also thinks that the things he has/will overcome will also make the end that much better, because guilt won't be gnawing away at him. Note that this is my opinion. [I think Ronnie wrote this about his life because of his drug abuse and such, but that's just me.]

I spelled the name wrong when I submitted it. :/ Oopsy. Haha, anyways. I think it's about a guy leaving a girl, because in their particular situation, it's the right thing to do, beacuase part of the reason he's leaving is because of all the stuff she's lied about and because they're just so different. And because the person leaving is completely sure of that it really is the right thing to do, her begging and crying can't change his mind.

I think it's about a guy that is in love with a girl so much that even if they fight or whatever, he loves her, so he's saying that's the night he'll "fall fot her over again" bacuase he'll prove that he loves her. And if she does make him change his mind, by making him mad or sad or whichever, it's pretty much over and he'll be just as depressed about it as he is. But it could also be about a guy in an on-and-off relationship with a girl he really loves, but they break up all the time for stupid things, like her having small crushes on other guys or because they fight. He's telling her that he's ready to take her back, for forever, and if she screws it up, he's not taking her back, no matter how much it hurts both of them. He's ready to take her back because he loves her so much and he'll never find another girl like her. Please note that this is my opinion and it could be wrong.

I believe it's about a guy leaving a girl, or vice versa, because in their particular situation, it's the right thing to do, beacuase part of the reason he's leaving I because of all the stuff she's lied about and because they're just so different. And because the person leaving is completely sure of that it really is the right thing to do, her begging and crying can't change his mind.

Though songs can have multuple meanings, depending on how the song is percieved through the listener's point of view. Or hearing. You get the idea. :] I for one believe this song is about a man that fell in love with a girl he'd wanted for so long. In the beggining, everything was as he had hoped it would be. But as time goes on, he realizes it wasn't what he really wanted, and that time had changed them, and now he is torn, not completely sure of what to do. Please note that this is my opinion. And that I love this song very, very much, along with the band.

It is-through my eyes- about only ever really feeling pain. The beggining sounds like he was being dumped, like he was saying "kill me before you say it so it won't hurt me" ya know? And how he doesn't care if he hurts, cause he's never really felt much else and how everything is wrong. He wants to be at least woven into someone's life somehow, so he wants to be used or taken for granted. About how his scars won't heel but he may grow out of them, and they're all from one person in particular, and he wants said person to never leave him or hurt him again, but it's already happened so much that it doesn't really hurt because he's used to the pain, but he want her so bad and it actually does hurt no matter what he hates to admit it and that reminds me of myself and my exboyfriend really bad and well, yeah. But that's just me.

I believe it's about being depressed and believeing you're alone. And no matter much you believe it's not always true, which, to me right now, seems like a loud of B. S! But I know in my heart- which sounds corny, I know- that it's not true. But just because I can't follow Adam's and my onw advice doesn't mean other people shouldn't. They're talking- or, rather, singing about prevailing and overcoming your aloneness, and standing with dignity when you are, metaphorically speaking, knocked down. And because you stand, you're really, ha, "standing above the crowd" meaning you are above other's opinions and insults and whatnot. It's an amazingly insperational song that would make any emogoth[there's not supposed to be a slash] make herself or himself feel better. Trust me, I would know. And, as a last note, I'd love to say that Three Days Grace is my favorite band and has been since they formed in 1997 when I was three. They got me intersted in music quite deeply, and I hope to perform with them someday, maybe even an original song of mine. Cause, hey, I'd love to put Broken Arrow on the map, along with myself. But dreams are dreams and reality is, ugh, reality, and it just came crashing down on me once again.

I, myself, believe it's about the youth of America and possibly other nations to. Ha, I make it seem a little self-explanitory. Though, I guess it really is. It's about how our youth is pretty much falling apart because of people's actions and words. This is the outcome of your actions, guys- why can't you see that? Does anyone else honestly think this is all of our- the youth's- fault? That it's our fault we were introduced to violent and volgur behavior? Why do they honestly think we are the way we are? I mean, gosh! But, anyway, I'm getting off track. But I suppose I wasn't, because though all or most songs have multiple meanings, I'm pretty sure that's mostly what P. O. D was trying to say, ya know? But that's my opinion. And, according to the government and other adults[including my parents], what does a twelve-year-old goth's opionion matter, anyway? Contemplate this.
