Keegan is very close. The photographs aren't intended as literal ones. "The photographs and still frames..." are as the singer explains "...in your mind." He is telling you to take your memories and cherish them especially those made of the good times since the unpredictability of life will guarantees that it will not be good all the time.

Time of your life implies a positive experience. It suggests that the singer hopes you've enjoyed it. It's also an interesting play on the words time of your life and your lifetime. Why should you have a good time? The previous words tell you, life may be unpredictable and at times difficult but, it turns out the way its is supposed to "in the end it's right."
