As time goes on you are not able to do the things you see to do physically like dance, your looks start to change physically, and feelings between most people fade. Ed in saying even if they can not dance or do the things they use to then he will still have the memories, even if she grows old and is physically not that same he will still remember her smile, and her soul, her true self will never grow old it will last forever. Some people fall in love so easy or in a moment, Ed is telling this girl he loves her not just for a moment but for his whole life. As time goes on you're growing older, Ed Sheeran is trying to say if a love is so strong then when they grow old, they don't look the same, or can't do the same things the feelings and love he has for the person will never grow old or change as they are physically. When you start to change physically and grow older there are events that happen in life when you loose people and so on because of the change, but Ed Sheeran is saying if the love is true then the other person you are in love with will always be there loving you just the same everyday not needing what was there in the past, you can fall in love with something new about a person everyday.
