My skin’s smothering me- is him talking about how hard it is for him to feel freedom. He feel claustrophobic with himself because of the depression. He can feeling ll of the pain he felt when he was self harming, being bullied and feeling depressed.
Help me find a way to breathe- He wants to be free but he don't know how to be free so he is asking for help. Because he don't want to feel claustrophobic in his own body.
All of it is show how anxiety can effect a person.

He thought he has managed to get passed the depression he was suffering but instead he finally saw that he hasn't. He thought that the Oli that was suffering with depression was buried and he would be able to live a normal life and be "normal" but he couldn't cause no matter what it was there. In his own personal hell.

The depression caused him to expect death everyday. He was expecting to die because he did it to himself to gain the freedom everyone had apart from him. He was stuck in a downwards spiral he thought that death was the only way to be free of that spiral.

Your name never represent who you are it is the characteristic you have and how people know you but really no one know the true him because no one truly understood his battle with depression and his battle with himself for that matter. When you deal with depression you are no longer yourself you are yourself and depression together so your name is no longer yours.

He wasn't in control. Hence why he said he is powerless. Being in control of what you feel give you a sense of power but when you have depression all the power you thought you had has vanished because it wasn't there in the first place. He had no control over what he felt or the escape he had to be able to deal with everything he is going through. Depression was controlling him and not him or anyone else could get rid of that any time soon.

When he was depression everyday he wanted to die. He wanted to be able to be free from the depression that controlled him and who he is. He searched for an exit. The search was like looking for a witch useless and disappointing. All he wanted to do was to leave the depression but there was no other way to leave it. The only way he knew was him dying and that was it. He felt that the exit through death will be so helpful in freeing him he didn't know that he wouldn't be able to experience it if he did die.

He had no one who understood and helped him get better and through it. He had support from friends and family but they never understood fully why he felt broken and down. He wanted someone to guide him through his depression so he can survive and the only people who did has never been through it themselves so has no understanding of the pain to feel broken.

It leaves you broken because it doesn't help you feel better. It makes you feel worse. He is trying to prove the quote "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is a lie. It plays a part in killing you because it just takes another piece of you away a piece that can not be glued back together.

Depression stays with him no matter what. When he bagin to feel "better" he think it is going. But it doesn't it hit him like a wave and all he could do it close his eye so he doesn't have to watch it happen again. It means he doesn't have to accept it over and over again. Closing his eye toke him away from it all.
