This song is inspired by Brandon Novak (Bams friend). Ville Valo even said it himself that it was for Novak, it is about novaks heroine addiction, novak said something along the lines of he did it because he was lonely and heroine was the only think that would kill his loneliness. That's why this song was written. And when he says with the venomous kiss you gave me, he is referring to a snake, the venom being heroine and kiss being the needle.
