Nice song, this reminds me of the story by himself. As for those who doesn't know it, Billy the Kid was an outlaw and a murderer but was stopped when he was shot dead on July 14, 1881 by Pat Garrett. It has been 130 years since that took place, and New Mexico's current governor, Bill Richardson, is considering giving a pardon that was intended to be granted to Billy the Kid by the governor before he was shot by Garrett. Garrett's family descendants are angry at this information saying it is an insult to Garrett.
