Updated: As self-explanatory as it gets within the title; It's about being Young, and dealing with life's confusing and unfortunate yet temporary disadvantages and the high hopes for your ambitions or goals that require time, lots of effort, growth, and patience in order to achieve. Perhaps even circumstantial barriers or illusions had gotten in the way of what you'd hoped for & originally set out to accomplish a lot sooner. This is a real anthem of being Young and as a youth coping through life's mental and emotional rollercoaster of up's & down's! Something that absolutely everyone can relate to in their personal lives. The lyrics aren't meant to point out exactly what happened because again it's personal and it's meant to have flexible meaning and find common-ground with the listeners. Thank you immensely for streaming Vacations hit song Young and enjoying it! An older review brought out that "Young” hinges on evaporating arpeggios that drag you into a dewy wave of euphoria. A coming of age track, Burns counts remaining the days of his youth over dreamy intricacies and a cozy malaise (“you’ve got to act your age darling before you fall back in“).

I like to think it’s about doing things you want to do and if it doesn’t necessarily go your way, you deal with it. Maybe, it is a song about the rollercoaster that we all ride in life but then we all have different tracks. If you’re bored or not happy with your life try to find a way to create a loop ➰ or get those ups and if it goes down well guess what, the rollercoaster never ends. "All things come to pass with time, but i want everything now to be all mine" it’s how we all feel at some point but it’s also the reason to keep going.

its a sad song :( (ignore this this is just so i can comment this since it only lets u comment if its a min of 50 words which doesnt make sence but oh well its fine anyways since u can just do this ig but still i wonder why they make it so u cant comment without it being over 50 words cos it just doesnt make sense tbh can yall agree w/ me on this cos it deffo dont make sense like why not let us have freedom to write out a short description its just a bit weird and silly ykwim i just dont get it why do it why waste ur precouis time and effort just to make someone type random stuff like this just to get nothing out of it is it like a game to them or smth like why dont they just remove it like i still dont get it man i just wish they made it so u can write out a simple 2 words like cmon man why do that like what if it was someones dream to write a 2 or 3 word comment abt their fav song and boom these people stop them its just odd) (i just realised i wrote WAY over 50 words oops)

maybe it's even about losing someone. you want everything to be alright but you still can't even believe that this pain is actually happening. you just want it to be all over. you're young and don't know how to deal with the pain. when you move on from pain you grow, but it takes time. it feels like the painful time will never end but it will. you just have to go through it.
