    This one seems to be about The Weeknd's drug dependency. On the surface, it seems like he's talking about a woman but the lines "and I know she'll be the death of me, at least we'll both be numb" is a direct reference to how numb he feels high. Him saying "the worst is yet to come" is him realizing the habit has a hold on him and he knows he needs to stop. I wanted to believe it was about a girl making him laugh so much his face went numb. Sadly, it's more likely cocaine

    I think it is about an addict, their relationship with drugs or alcohol. It talks about misery and being numb but being in love with her ( the drug), and he will never be alone because he will always take the drugs, and can't be without it even though it will be the death of him. :(
