This is about a girl who felt being drifted apart from her man. She seeing signs that they're relationship is falling apart and that they're about to break up. Maybe. But for me, ten thousand miles apart means not only the distance, it could also mean the feelings of both in a relationship that is failing or the age difference, or could be the culture or the race. Anything that can become the reason for those who are supposed to be in love to be apart.

California king bed is a huge bed. And the song says. In this California king bed, we're ten thousand miles apart. This could mean many different things. Could be failing relationship, could be that the man has shown some signs that he is falling out of love with the girl. Could be age difference, could be culture conflict, could be race difference or many other things that hinders those in a relationship to be happy. Charz!
