This song just has a strong meaning, for 7 years I fought with depression and suicidal thoughts. It is by his love that I have been saved. After my 7th suicide attempt, I am save in His arms. For years I tried to find my peace through other people and through their happiness, but putting my hope in them only hurt me more, because people will always fail us but Jesus. Wow He will never hurt us or let us down. That void was finally filled not too long ago, and I am the happiest I have been in years and just a few days ago my family made me choose church or choose home, and thinking about all the Lord has provided for me, I faithfully chose church. I am out on a limb with Jesus ever so close to me. I have chosen to give up on Him so many times but He always brings me right back and this time I'm not letting go.
So more than words can ever say. This song is probably one of the best out there because it has so much meaning and power!

I was once one of those people that tried to fill my emptiness with temporary things. But once I turn my life to the lord, I knew that their is only one thing that can fill my emptiness and that was the joy of the lord. This song reminds me of when I once was lost and was looking for something. Now this song touches my heart and breaks me everytime I hear it.

My father passed away recently. I was his caregiver and we were very close. I lost my mom ten years ago and my dad and I just got eachother through it, with the help of my children and the Lord. But this was such a horriffic loss that I have a hole in my heart. I have been a born again christian for over 22 years and I have never felt so loved and lonely all at the same time. The Lord sends us music or other things to talk to us sometimes and I heard this today and it made me feel so good. She is a very blessed women who God has sent to touch hearts everywhere. Spread the word!

I am a cradle christian that unfortunately allowed my focus to change to being validated by the world. I had to face the poor choices I made, the steps I took away from my faith, the steps I took away from my god--and turn around to him. I found peace in prayer, comfort in those that loved the lord, and learned how to not be bitter, but instead work at getting better every day. I know I'm not perfect, I know I have made a lot of mistakes--but I also know that I am loved by a god who gave me jesus, and to focus on that whenever the world tries to tell me something else. Now, I focus more on learning my identity in christ and who god has created me to be, not in the world showing me where I continually fall short. Thank you lord.

When I first heard this song I thought of how my life used to be when I lost my mom in 2000, she had major heart attack in 1994 that messed with me in so many different ways that I don't have time to even begin to tell, but I tried to make the best of what time I had left with her then the next thing I know we were making funeral arrangements for her and that left me devistated to the point that all I wanted to do was cry all the time and stay in my room with the door locked. Then I ran smack bab into jesus face to face and he took my life and turned me around and really filled the void that I never really knew was there or so I thought and now I am into A ministry that is helping hurting people like I used to be: it's A youth ministry that deals with youth that need to know about A man that can take their pain and give them peace of mind like we have never experienced before. Thank you god for saving my soul!

I have a 29 year old daughter that suffered a terrible loss in losing her only siblig, her brother when she was 15 years ol and since has searched for peace in alcohol and drugs! She has awful void that only Jesus can fill. I pray everyday that she finds her void in Jesus. The first time I heard this song I cried because it is for her. This is the best song I have heard in many years. Incredible!
