In these two next lines, theres something the song wants ourselves to ask directly: You realize that time goes fast? That is something you aren't able to control, outta your reach. And even if we notice, we just try to ignore.

Here, it's spoken as if someone (the listener) has given up. Get to think a bit. You ain't alone in any of your quests, there's always someone that believes there's many options to face - searching for a place you believe that exists.

What it means, is to evaluate every possibility. Be restless, be stubborn. Even if you think you're left with only a couple of options, or the result seems to be decided from before, what if it is different? What if there's another way, another possibility?
Whatever you think that can happen, it can happen, as it can't. There's always a maybe, an if - you can't think everything is decided without a second option.
