Some have said "if the devil knew what God was doing at the cross, he would have never sought Jesus death." The twin mysteries of "we are the body of Christ" (believers joined together in Christ) and "Christ in me" (as an individual believer) are astonishing from every angle. I struggle against internal and external rejection (from myself and others). God's invitation in this song is to hear His invitation to press pass the astonishment and rejection into relationship from Himself and His joined family who continually waits for me to enter the family room.
