I hate being a child in these days. Its like you cant be a child, you cant do childish things, you cant have fun. I tried too like the hippies did and had a little bit of fun but that didnt last long. Actually it was really not worth it because i spent so much more in lockup than i did out and i didnt do anything, I didnt hurt anyone you know what the hippies believed. That why i would rather be a child in the hippies days instead of now because it is so depressing and it is a killer to a lot of people. Oh i wish so much that those days would come back but their not the world is just gonna end soon but knowing the saying "Be happy for me, I'm going to a better place." And what i think- I will get to live like a child, nothing to worrie about, and you will be seeing me and alot of other people- Similing...baby-Wide... |

There can be alot of meanings to this song. Personal, or the real meaning to it by Jefferson Airplane but I am really studing about all different kinds of meanings about it and any one I have thought of is how some people are stuck in between a child and an adult and really a teenager is not where they are stuck at and with this song I believe that its like stuck in between but not like a teenager, it is out of the meaning. Like half an child and half an adult but this song would probally help you out by finguring out with what is the truth. If you listen to this song like have it on any stereo type that can play this song and you listen to it I mean all the time, it can get really emotional and especially if it applies to you or someone you know so I am just letting yall know but check into it if you want, it is almost like an BAD TRIP but it will help you figure out your real self. Nobody really cares about anybody no more and i think this song means if people would please help people and these days I believe people are never going to care about anybody and even not about anything. Hey You change these days for the better So do your part help this world and the people that need help. Please people are hurting out there and its going to get worse if people don't Stand-Together. |

This song is my most favorite song that i have ever listend to and i listen to it every day and have it on repeat i have 3 Cds of it and its in all my steroes at all times.
If you really do listen to this song, you might find a personal meaning to you because it reminds me of how i had to grow up too quick and how people always told me to grow up everyday you know act like this you don't need to act like a child, its not cool but i told them i am a child, i am young but they say you don't need to be. and this song reminds me of it and it is really emotional to me. Listen to this song it might make you feel innocent, it will make you feel better. |

I believe that this song Lather by Jefferson Airplane means to me- About a mental retarted man who has a mind of a child who these people introduced him to adult things which he was not ready for mentally.Even though the children love him, its like he can't go back because it is not right for him with him being 30. These people noticed that he was not happy being an adult and his mind is wanting to go back to a child mind (even though he still is slow at mind,like a child) he can't go back so they wish - and I should of let him go-on Smiling...baby...Wide... |
