I think this song is simply great. It's melody, lyrics, and even ambience that it creates is simply amazing and emotional. I'd cry listening to it when getting through some of my toughest problems at my age.
Recalling the early songs of Mariah's, they were (or rather, still) pretty inspirational for anyone who's listening at it. I'm 15 this year and I cam through this song when reading up about Mariah Carey. I was hooked and she's my number-one idol alright.
I think the very basic of this song was to remind everyone of us that no one's weak enough to be defeated. Everyone's strong and if you're adamant enough for it, believe her, you'll get through fine, alright. And seriously, this song saved my life when I was at my darkest moments of my life. It's like this drug, so very effective.
