Dear rabbit my legs are getting weak chasing you
The snow fields wouldn't seem so big if you knew
That this blood on my teeth it is far beyond dry
And I've captured you once but I wasn't quite right
So I'm telling you that you'll be safe with me
I think that this stanza of the song is representing at one point that he hurt or betrayed the rabbit. Rabbits can often be seen as innocent creatures, while wolves are associated with violence more. So maybe representing the fact that the "rabbit" is a person that the "wolf" hurt at one point. "And I've captured you once, but I wasn't quite right." Showing that once he hurt the rabbit, but is asking for forgiveness. But as the first line shows, "Dear rabbit my legs are getting weak chasing you," the person that was hurt is running away from his/her "wolf," or harmer. "So I'm telling you that you'll be safe with me." This can be seen as the harmer trying to earn the trust of his victim. This "victim/rabbit" and "harmer/wolf" could represent anything.
