This song is about Fear Factory being the original and the one everyone bases off of, hence the name "Archetype". They talk about others being original but still turning back to them for guidance (This is real/What you wish to be) and that they shouldn't be forgotten or taken lightly, as they defined an entire genre (You must never forget/The essence of your spark). |

I believe that this song is about not blindly following what others say about other worlds, like Heaven and Hell, and instead attempting to solve the problems that already exist on this Earth. I don't follow a religion, but I hear almost every religion saying that their god said, "Whatever you do to the least of my children, you do to me." And right now, all those who set themsleves on Heaven will end up in Hell. Because if you think of yourself, then you are ignoring the least of your brothers and the words of your god. |

This song shouldn't have it's lyrics on the Internet, because it's so kick ass, it's lyrics are transmitted directly into people's brains.
Now that's over with, I think this song is about child abuse and neglect, as the song describes someone who starts out meek and afraid of everything due to abuse, but grows to hate it all and kill his abuser from taking too much. |
