This song is about an addiction to someone you are with and you know the relationship is bad for you but you just can't seem to get away. You are so addicted to this person and you know you are being used by them but, no matter how painful and how much you want to get away from them, your 'emotional' addiction keeps you bound to your lover. You are fighting within yourself to conquer this addiction but its grasp is too strong.
