To me, this song is about a man that's had to say goodbye to too many loved ones in the past. And now this is his final goodbye. '. My engine is stalling. Feelings that filled me left me cold. Dreams are my saviors, save me now, cause I know I'm fallin' kinda like his life is fading. To me it just sounds like he's saying his final goodbye to the one he loves.

Why is it that Andy is like the only reason that half of these reviewers even listen to the Black Veil Brides? I mean sure, he's nice to look at but are you really even listening to the music? Because that's what it's about. I'm pretty sure if he read half the s*t that's posted here, he'd be like "WTF?!" When I first heard of bvb I didn't even know what Andy looked like. What got my attention was his voice. It's beautiful! And then their sound is so unique, I've never heard anyone sound like them before. I'm pretty sure that's the message they're trying to get out. Lame-O's.

I think this song is about a boy that loved a girl very much but she died. And how he's singing about how he's loved and lost her. Saying he sings 'this song' at funerals makes sense for that part. And then he says 'You said you loved as you left me, Regrets still haunt your saddened head but I promised I will see you again'. Meaning that when he dies too, he'll see her again. And with the last line 'I'm home again' I think he finally does die. But that's just my take on it; it could mean something different entirely. But either way, it's a very beautiful song and it's amazing how you can just hear the emotion pouring from Andy's voice. Love the bvbs. Wanna see them live sooo bad :)

Okay to the person below me:. You are right about one thing only, that he was one of the most influential people of his time. Now wether he was making fun of Guns N' Roses, I don't care. I love both bands. But his wife didn't kill him. He od'd. Courntey was in absolute, heart-wrenching, sickening love with Kurt. He was like the butter to her toast. There was no way she killed him. He killed himself. Because if you haven't noticed, most of Kurt's lyrics have that "psychotic, out there" vibe to them. And that's because he was insane. And don't get me wrong, he was also genius. But most geniuses are insane. I mean look at Vincent Van Gogh, he was a f*****g awesome painter, but he killed himself. Kurt killed himself. That's all there is to it. Thanks for reading.

It's about a girl who kills herself and her lover is devastated. Now, I'm not sure about the whole war theme, but maybe he's going to war so he can die. Maybe he wants to die, but is to afraid to kill himself? Just a thought. Not sure if that's the point of the song. Eh typical mcr. They're music is sometimes hard to decipher and that's what makes them so awesome!

Well Butterflyz666,. If you could understand what happened in my freshman year, than maybe you'd be a little more understanding. And I'm sure your life is just peachy! But being able to hear about my life situations through a song really did change my perspective. You may think all you want, but it doesn't change how this song affected me. So you really need to grow up and get a life. Just because you can't relate to something so strongly doesn't mean you should trash how other people express themselves.

This song is so beautiful in the most tragic of ways. He loves her so much, that he's torn. He doesn't want her to give up the most important thing, her life. He wants what's best for her because he loves her so. Though, she's got her mind made. She loves him in such a way that she's willing to give up anything to be with him for always. Forever. It's a gorgeous song and at the same time it breaks your heart.

Forenote about myself: Freshman year was the hardest year in my and my best friends lives. We were both going through very dark times in our life. And this song saved us. Still, its about a person watching a loved one deteriorate. They are going through something so painful that they believe that death is the only answer. So this person tries to make their loved one believe that no matter what happesns, things will always be okay. There's nothing so wrong that can happen that death is the only answer. You may think that it might be, but remember death is permanent, you can't undo it. That is the final answer. Is the pain really worth giving up your life?

This song is about a girl that had it all during high school. Then she got mixed up with the wrong crowd and the wrong kind of boyfriend. They used and abused her and now she's broken. She left for la and came back to her hometown five years later. People see her as the beautiful Homecoming Queen, but with a broken soul. They believe that it's such a shame that her life is going no where, when she could have been something great. Now she's looking for that right someone and looking to turn her life around and make people see that she really is their Homecoming Queen.

He loves her, she loves him. They break up for some odd reason. They move on. They get new lovers. She calls him upset one night and confesses she still loves him. He comes to realize that he loves her still as well. His current girlfriend knows he still loves his ex, but doesn't confront him. She loves him too much to confront him. He feels bad for loving his ex while being with his current girlfriend. Hence the "my girls in the next room." Love the song.

This song is about a guy who is in love with a girl. But he's so used to messing up and ruining things between him and her that he doesn't know if he can change for her. She screams and yells at him to be better, but he can't hear her. He only hears and sees the things he's done wrong. But all in all he still loves her as much as she loves him.
