This was a song the late great donice rufus played on the piano and sang to the children of ramblewood elementary. She died in 2011. She is survived by a 16 year old son - donald (sophomore) and a 21 year old daughter - delisa who is majoring in music education. Donald attends J. P. Taravella high and is a sophomore as did delisa, his sister graduated in 2008. I still think the trombone is great for this song.

We went to a margaritaville restaurant in orlando, fl once. I loved the food and the music. The song was originally going to be recorded by elvis presley, but he had died that year (1977). Jimmy buffet recorded it instead. Alan jackson has a newer version of the song. As of april 2012 a margaritaville restaurant is going to open in hollywood, florida. I hope I will like it. Currently, it is being built.

I like the way she sings because it reminds me of the difficult tasks I used to do in high school. High school is difficult because of the amount of work students would have to be assigned by the teacher. Band and orchestra are very difficult classes to take. I did play the trombone at one time and I made it look easy. The standing position was too hard for me because it was heavy for me to hold. I was only 19 years old. Toddlers could find the trombone easy to play because their hands are the right size to hold it while standing.

I like this song, because it has a good beat and the rhythm is easier to dance to. I wish I could go dancing 2night. I'd rock at it. Too bad it isn't used everyday. I wish I could play the song on the trombone. I'm going to try playing it. Party rock. I could dance to this song all night if I had to. Because everyday I'm shuffling. What is reppin? Anyways I love the song. I literally shuffle everday. I wont even try and I find myself shuffling,.
