This song, to me, is a song about being decieved in your time of need, like the first verse was saying that hes been following this person all his life but hes slowly starting to realize that this person is full of deciet, like an anti-Christ type person. But hes to attached to let go because right now that person's all hes got. The second verse is after he finds out this person is full of lies and he gets pierced in the heart because of all the pretenders, but now, after hes on the verge of breaking down completely, he prays to find a true savior, somebody whocan actually take him out of this misery, so he promises not to give up till he does (Don't Surrender! Surrender!) And the chours I think is tieing the whole relationship with the "Evil Angel" together, asking it face-toface if its a complete lie

Anyway regardless of what Ben was thinking when he came up with this, all of his songs are true and deep and I think he will be known as one of the best songwriters of all time

Most people think this song talks about everything that you do is worthless in the end, but its not, well atleast to me its not. Ill break it down,

The first verse in this song tells of how life is to short to be wasted on useless things (drugs, meaningless sex, violence) because before you know it, your time will be up and what accomplishments can you say youve done then?
The second verse is about how you may be able to leave behind the sins in your past for a while, but in the end they all come back around and you truely pay for them,

The chorus is what ties everything together, the meaning to it is that no matter what you achieve here on this earth, the single most important thing you had to of done is make the right choice in who you love, who you followed, thts were the line in the beginning ("It starts with love") comes from,

To me this songs says that some guy like a girl, but for some reason is trying to ignore and forget her, but he realizes he needs her because she, i quote "wont get out of my way" "wont quit screaming my name" and "wont stop touching my skin" he also realizes the mistakes hes made by ignoring her, and if he doesnt react soon, shes goinjg to be taken from his reach...i can say all this becuase im going through a similar situation now and hopefully this song can speak to me enough to get me to fix it

I actually think this song talks about concited people, people who tink there all that and have no flaws and so they beat on the people that they think do have flaws, then the part in the song where he counts, the bridge, is like them thinking there flawless and not wrong but then hes saying there wrong and sayng that someone has to give in, and then the chorus "Let the bodies hit the floor" is like sying let te enemy fall,

This song is one of my favorites because it talks about, parents/bullies/and haters, what i mean is the beginning verse kinda talks about like the person is all talk and when it all comes down to it they cant do it, the chorus is kinda saying that the person is taking all their frustration out on you and that you live what youve learned (you act by what you get taught) and the second verse says how people can be so cruel that they take pleasure in watching others hurt themselves or get hurt,

this is a very good meaning song, too bad the people who need to hear it dont even bother eith this kind of music

This song says to me basically that hes just watching the world from the sidelines "shadows", like hes just observing it, the chorus tells me this, also that hes kinda looking for an answer that will help fix the worlds sins, another meaning it sends out is when he sings the second verse he kinda talks about how the "media" and other people encourage stuff even if its wrong and hes resisting, and it gives me a catholic vibe like hes asking God to aid in his search for an answer but hes done sitting on the sidelines so he takes action, thats kinda what this song says to me

This song is one of the very inspirational ones that talks about all your bad deeds, in this one i think it is about him repenting on his past sins, like the line "easy to find whats wrong, harder to find whats right" that means like its easy to give in to temptation but its hard to do what you know is right, also the chorus kinda gives me the feeling that he has died in "this world so wrong" and is now in like a crossroad: will he give into sin again or start doing the right thing? and he would choose the good path, but he has to fight his demons in order to go on that path thats were i think the lines "as we dance with the devil tonite, dont you dare look him in the eye, as we dance with the devil tonite" come from, he has to fix his mistakes to become a good person
