I think this song is about a girl who has had a troubled past or something and she's afraid to let her guard down because she's afraid of actually falling in love and the guy won't give up because he really cares about her and he's willing to do anything for her and prove to her that they are really meant to be.

Dougie wrote this about his dad who left him, his mom and his sister only a few weeks before Dougie joined McFly. It has a lot of meaning to it. I think the part where it says "don't say you're never gonna leave me" is especially sad and touching.

I think this song is kinda about a love-hate relationship. Even though they fight and it's not always easy, at the end of the day they love each other and just can't live without each other.

Tom wrote this because he had a dream about falling in love with an alien and he wrote a song about it and the song became a big hit and they already had a song that needed new lyrics called Good Night and then he rewrote the lyrics about falling in love with a girl from outerspace like in he did in his dream and called it Star Girl and it became a big hit just like in his dream.

I'm a big fan of McFLY so I watch "Just My Luck" all the time just to see them and I showed my friends the movie and now they really like Mcfly too and "I've Got You" is one of their favorite songs.
Basically it means with you, or that special person, you feel so much better and you feel "Stronger" and "better" all because of them and they make your life so much better |

Don't be afraid of love when you find it. Just go for it because sometimes you don't realize how much you care about someone until you aren't with them and then it might be too late and you'll always wonder what could have been.
