Its about war and how your american government makes it all sound good (or Tries to) hence 'Everybodys going to the party' then shows its trie colours with 'dancing in the desert' this is a play on words also with 'blowing up the sunshine' this is referring tot he pointless destruction of nice places in war it then moves into the good old system of a down governement hate with 'why don't presidents fight the war\'.
