In this particular line she is using the light and darkness as a metaphor to describe her feelings. Her "darkness" is her fear for love and her "light" is the hope she has for herself to potentially let love in. She mentions the light because in the previous line, she describes how she's afraid of love in her dreams, so this line turns around and expressing her true emotions- how although she is afraid of love, she still wants to find it and let it in.

This line means that she is afraid of her idea of love because she feels that in reality, her love will never stay. This then makes her afraid to really fall in love and let herself go to be in this "dream" of love that she has imagined for herself.
