I adore this song. In my opinion, it voices the experience of having a partner who starts off great, the typical, buying flowers and chocolates etc. However, as time goes on, she realises that the trust is gone, she can no longer trust him but she's addicted and each time she takes him back, he gets worse and worse, until she finally plucks up the courage and tells him to go.

I agree with the point about the 'what if I die tomorrow? ' however I also think that it has an element of depression and suicide throughout as 'i tried to eat today' shows that they are obviously going through a tough time. Adding on to the point about death, I think it could show that they are trying to discover what would happen if they did commit suicide 'tonight' and are attempting to discover the consequences affecting the people around them if they did. I adore this song. Job well done.
