as i read the top 5 opinions on this song, i was thinking bout puttin down that he wants to kill himself or whatever. then, i reread the lyrics. look closer and it's as if he is just trying to correct himself. he needs to fix whatever it is on his own, away from everyone he loves. he's not going to kill himself. he's also asking for helpfrom someone. hence "and i'd hope you might take me back inside, when the time is right"
