It's obvious our Mr. Brightside here founds out he's being cheated on,
and the pictures in his head are driving him even more crazy than that.
Is it so that there's another version where "Turning saints into the sea"
is really "Turning sex into deceit"?
Also, I've had the same experience as Andrew223 with my ex while I was on vacation. It was terrible to hear it, but the song still intrigues me to no end. |

In my mind this describes the ending between me and an ex of mine.
I was on a holiday and slept in the car on my way home, 'close to the window', while he was cheating on me. The next morning he texted that we needed to talk and I immediately 'had a bad feeling about it', I knew what he had done. It took me months before I realized he was a jerk who liked to put me down, 'my worst brought out the best in him'. Taking Back Sunday puts so much feeling into their songs, almost anyone can recognize something in them. Therefore, I love them. |
