To me this could be explained in two ways. In one way Christine is thinking of everything that she missed getting to to do with her love Raul. How they were separated for so long and now he is back. On the other hand she could be thinking about the Phantom and how he intrigues her. And how she never wants to forget about these people that she has both found a love for in some way or another. She sings this while also thinking back on past days.

Now as she tries to to make her way back in she is no longer as beautiful and wanted as she was before. She sings this while thinking back on how amazing her life was before she left the tribe.
