[I'd like to point out that this is the edited version of the song, for the Hannah Montana movie. There are different lyrics to this for the original.]
This song's meaning is kinda obvious: Some guy plays a country song backwards, and gets all that he lost from it back. Then he passes it on to another guy, being Gary Vernon in this case. |

I think this song is about a guy who's been waiting so long for, oh, let's say his love, and the outcome of waiting so much time is a monotonous life. And when that "love" finally comes, he's so deep in nothingness that it's what he is--permanently as it seems. |
