the older version is way better. lyrics-wise and music-wise. he rewrote it a little bit for the new album, but it sounds better the original way. |

this song is different from his usual stuff, because its almost entirely acoustic guitar, and matthew theissen is singing backup (and doing a pretty good job at it too) it sounds different, but still the amazing owl city we know and love |

this is the best and also most underrated of the songs on his new album. it has a building sort of feeling, and the backup singing by the girl never fails to give me that spine tingly feeling you get from a really good song :) |

haha this is about his insomnia, which he actually writes his songs during, because he cant sleep; he writes songs about the dreams he would have had. thats how i see it :) |

this is one of the best on their new album. i dont care how unpopular it is compared to Weightless or Damned if I Do Ya, its still really good. he wants to know what his girlfriend is saying about him behind his back. |

honestly i didnt think this song was as good as some of the others on their new cd, music-wise at least, but the lyrics are really good and easily relatable. |

i heard this song on the radio; i had only ever heard an instrumental by Evanescence before that, but i knew instantly who it was just by the distinctive style of the music. this song is awesome :) |

I LOVE THIS SONG ESPECIALLY THE CHORUS! its about how the guy wants to hang out (or go out) with a girl who stopped liking him when he hurt her, and now that he's older and more responsible, he's eager to prove to her that he wont hurt her again. |

this song is about how a guy went to a party, flirted with a girl, and then, her BOYFRIEND got there :P so he's like "uh sorry about that is this your girlfriend?" and they fought, and he won. so now everyone at the party hates him for stealing the girl away from her boyfriend and he's leaving with her. |

also, believe it or not, but the edited version of this song actually sounds better than the unedited version. it sounds cooler somehow, flows a little bit better. |
