i think it's speaking to all "cliques". you got the jocks and followers(hollister wearers). you got some thugs who are followers but just come off as wannabees. emos and goth... all a clone of one type or another. me? when i pull out my clothes for work under the light of my cell fone, i surprise myself when dressing in the dark only to find out my clothes are totaly mismatched. i would say i'm in the dork crowd but man why do so many people lives have to revolve around their web page? ever hear the attention needing insect who says out loud in a crowd "did you read my blog?" STOP FREE ADVERTIZING ON YOUR BODIES KIDS! |

i thought it was about doping too but... maybe him losing a girl who who "bangs"(Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive.)but he still loves her. gives me the impression she's dead but then talks about her in the present tense. |

i think it means... brand names and popularity aren't his driving force in life. i don't think it's a rebeling against the P's song but rather a tribute to being an individual and not a Hollister wearing clone. |
