This song is absolutely amazing, and yeah I guess some college kids live their lives this way- totally relatable to them I guess. Hoho. Not me though =x But I still love-ee it! : D (Probably cos I really love my classes that's why I don't do the "get wasted", "drink my beer and smoke my weed" kinda thing ;) Yes people, college is all about free-dom, but get a real life yea! Xd).

She can't forget him, but she doesn't know why. She feels like she might be "mad", or "proud". In reality, I think she needs (wants) to get back together with him. Or, yeah, get over him. Just two options essentially. This song seems so simple but it is full of endless meanings too- a wealth of emotions just literally boiling under the surface. Love can be really sucky at times, and this is one of those times where you feel lucky that you are not involved in it (me, I think;)).

"It was you and me, against the world." I think, this line sums up everything in the song- she's singing about a lost love, a broken relationship, because it *was* what they had. And they no longer have it now. It's over. Evidently, it's about the end of a relationship- but it also goes much deeper than that, because she's questioning herself on whether she was the cause of it. Or whether she's just "a fool" because he promised her forever- but he couldn't do it. They all can't, in the end. Something we can learn from here- they all don't keep their promises in the end. Be strong, be the best you can be with yourself- and you deserve so much better than a bast*d who only lies to you. 'Unbeautiful' is gutwrenching, because it's all about the past and mistakes of the past. One can't move on if one can't forget. And the truly tragic thing is that the girl always feels as if she's become "unbeautiful".

This song is about how much she wants to stop thinking/loving the person, but she can't. "I can't help the way I feel for you" that's it. She has summed up everything perfectly. I think the story in this song is really good- in that she needs to "clear [her] mind/ leave all this madness behind". Whereas for him, he needs to leave his "darkness" behind. Aww they're perfect for each other actually.
