There's a lot of hurt in the woman he wrote this for. She helped him, and now, he's going to help her. "I'll become, what you became to me." She was his answer when things when bad and now he will be hers. A repayment of sorts. |

This song is about trying to crawl out of your mind's dark black hole...And even though we get to the top every once in a while and we are truly happy we always fall back in once in a while. And the people around us get frustrated with us because they want us to be happy and we promise them we are but we get down again and that's where "label me a liar" comes in. Either that or it's about the addiction...ha. |

Here's what I think...I think that he's saying goodbye to a woman that he loves because he can't be with her anymore for whatever reason. The reason seems to be here that she needs to be saved but he's not the one who can do it. She needs to want to help herself and although he loves her...he won't go. And he's telling her he's been there too and has come back- "This place full of peace and light, and I’d hope you might Take me back inside when the time is right". She may have told him to leave too. I dunno...Let me know what you think.
