Stating how the singer feels is redundant at this point, you know how the singer feels just by reading these lyrics, but I want to highlight these specific lyrics. "I feel more awesome than an Awesome Possum." For those of you who don't know, Awesome Possum was a game for the Sega Genesis. Why they're referencing it here. Or at all. Is beyond me, because the game, itself, wasn't even that good to start with.

The singer is stating that he couldn't see any of the signs of her love for him fading, if she even gave any signs at all. It shows desperation in the sense that he does not know what he did or even what's going on. She could've given up on him long before hand, and he never would have figured that out. But, then again, when I went through a very recent break-up, I knew it was nearing the end. But I still fought for her, and I'm proud that I did.
